Al Fresco Reps
Sorry, it’s been some time since I have written about this area, as I have been very busy publishing our reps’ blogs instead. That’s a very valid reason, in my opinion, as they are providing very useful up-to-date information on and around our campsites. Anyway – for Part 3, I highly recommend “Autrefois Challans” – [...]

Another wonderful blog from our Jean, our Al Fresco Rep at La Garangeoire. Has anyone else taken part in this raft race? Please let us know how you went on! Ahoy there land lubbers! Who would have thought that raft building could be so much fun? I do remember years ago doing it on a [...]

This blog was sent in by the family of an obviously very talented daughter. (See her painting below.) “Camping at La Grande Métairie near Carnac was our first Al Fresco holiday and was fantastic. There were eight in our party (four adults & four children, ages 12, 10, 10, 9) and we all had a [...]

Al Fresco Reps
We became very proud Al Fresco Reps recently! On the first weekend of the month Pra Golf Club hold a tournament (a Stableford competition) and has around 100 entries. One of our guests, Darragh Flynn, aged 15, impressed The Club so much that he was invited to enter. He was the only English speaking player [...]

Salbris is a neighbouring town of Pierrefitte sur Saldre where our beautiful campsite, “Les Alicourts” is situated. Kind regards, Steve. Actually, I have found this may [...]

Gail and Steve, the new Al Fresco representatives at our Les Alicourts resort, situated in the Loire valley sent us this report: “This is our first season as reps. We weren’t sure exactly what to expect, but we are enjoying the job more than we ever imagined. We’ve met so many lovely interesting Al Fresco [...]

Here’s a last blog from our campsite rep, Cynthea, at Les Mediterranées, who kindly sent this in after she unfortunately had to return home. But she has passed on the names of new reps to me, who she assures me will write very good blogs. So, watch this space. “All the evening markets are now [...]

Ian Sturgess from the Daily Mirror recently visited one of our new parcs, Marina d’Erba Rossa, in Corsica, and here’s what he thought: We spent half-term week at the Marina d’Erba Rossa site at Ghisonaccia with Thomson Al Fresco. Fully recommend the Rossini Riviera mobile home which is fully equipped for a self-catering stay with [...]

Hi, Clive, Just keeping you up-to-date with what is going out out here in South East France. Bastille Day is celebrated every year on 14th July (not just here – but all over France). It is France’s national day and commemorates the storming of the Bastille, which took place on 14th July 1789 and marked [...]

In a report by easyJet, Spain tops the poll as the number one holiday destination for Brits! It really has turned 360 as the likes of Benidorm are booming again; back to their former 80s glory and the long-haul destinations like Egypt, and the Caribbean move down the list! But what has brought this [...]
